The ultimate modulated fuzz effect
Introducing Fuzz Fields, a wild range of fuzz sounds packed into a sophisticated pedal interface. We believe this is the most exciting 'toy' we've ever created. You'll find yourself playing for hours, exploring its special features that generate unique bleeps and bloops.
‘‘Our dream was to create the most playable and interactive modulated fuzz pedal.’’
Fuzz Fields is an analog fuzz core with 3 modulation voices, all working magically together. Nothing is static here. The Fuzz is constantly in motion, causing it to scream, swell, saturate, and flutter. It is your playing dynamics that bring control of this futuristic device to your fingers.

Sonic features
-
Fuzz Fields is packed with an internal oscillator that can be accessed by the FREQ footswitch and make the pedal scream, squeal and growl. Also in this mode, fuzz is at maximum and the FUZZ knob transforms into a FREQUENCY dial affecting the oscillation pitch.
-
In FREQUENCY mode, turn the GATE knob clockwise to tame the oscillating harmonics and create a gated octaver fuzz with muscles. The high-low gain switch will lead the octaver to lower or higher octaves. As your signal dies out, a series of random harmonics based on your fundamental note spurt out, resembling a broken auto-tune like effect.
-
The SENSE knob controls the envelope's sensitivity. When guitar strings are struck, the envelope generates a control signal with attack and decay properties. This signal allows for remote control of both the phase shifter and gravity mode functions. The sensitivity level determines how responsive these effects are to the player's picking dynamics.
-
Gravity Mode is a gain reduction modulation for the fuzz engine. It’s like you turn down the fuzz knob using your playing dynamics, instead of your fingers tweaking the fuzz knob. Use the Envelope to control the sensitivity of the gain reduction to create subtle pumping or aggressive signal dropouts. Combine it with the GATE knob to saturate and bring the signal down to the ground. You can also plug an EXP pedal to control the overall fuzz gain.
Gravity Mode shines especially when combined with the oscillating FREQ mode. Your dynamics now affect the oscillating frequency, creating a unique screaming effect that is the spirit of Fuzz Fields. -
The GATE can cut down harmonics and saturate the sound while also tame the oscillations. In Gravity Mode, saturation can become extreme and its intensity is dependent on the envelope’s sensitivity level.
-
Fuzz Fields is loaded with a phase-shifter circuit that can modulate your signal and is enabled by the PHASER footswitch. Turn it on and choose between a phaser or vibrato like effect by the on-board toggle. The intensity of the modulation can be controlled by the dynamics of your playing, utilizing the envelope follower circuit, the sensitivity of which can be adjusted by the SENSE knob. The modulation can be further modulated by an expression pedal or external CV or whatever you may desire, within reason... or not!

Sounds
guitar
External LFO controls the phase shifting modulation on phaser mode. Leslie swell type with fuzz on the low gain setting.
In Gravity mode the envelope can create pitch shifting effects. Set a delay right after the Fuzz Fields and the oscillation will sound like cosmic ray burst effect.
As your signal dies out, a series of random harmonics based on your fundamental note spurt out, resembling a broken auto-tune like effect.
Playing with the Gate knob results in saturated guitar tones. A pinch of Phaser is triggered by the sense knobs threshold.
Gate knob can beautifully mute the oscillator and create octave effects. Random Octaves and 8 bit sounds available.
External fast LFO which modulates the vibrato section of the phase shifter. The result is a Ring Modulator type of effect.
bass & synth
Raw sound of EP 133 kick bass melody. The Fuzz Fields is in Gravity Mode, playing with the REQUENCY and the SENSE knob.
PO-12 plugged into the Fuzz Fields and playing around with Fuzz Fields knobs and switches.
First clean then with Fuzz Fields and then Gravity Mode + external LFO and last the oscillator activates.
Envelope Follower
Indicator
Sense Indicator: Flashes to visualize envelope follower’s signal, when input dynamics exceed the threshold setting.
Sensitivity
Controls the sensitivity level for tracking input signal dynamics. When the input signal amplitude exceeds this set threshold, it triggers modulation, allowing playing intensity to directly influence sound parameters for Gravity Mode and Phase Shifter.
Controls
Phaser
Flick the switch to select between a Phaser or Vibrato like effect for the phase-shifter modulation.
Vibrato
Lo-Hi Gain
Upper position: Higher gain and high octave pitch in FREQ mode.
Lower position: Lower gain and lower octaves in FREQ mode.
Connectivity
Expression Pedal
EXP
CV
Connect an Expression Pedal and/or Control Voltage in either of these inputs, to further modulate the phase-shifter, or oscillator in Gravity Mode, and take control over speed and depth if the CV of your choosing allows it. Can work simultaneously with the Envelope Follower offering some interesting nuances.

ENV OUT
Output the Envelope Follower’s control signal to manipulate other external devices.

Input & Output TS or TRS 6.35mm
When a TRS plug is used, the Ring connection bypasses directly to the output jack, while the fuzz effect is applied to the Tip channel of the stereo TRS jack
-
Ultra robust footswitch made in EU
True bypass using relay+microcontroller+firmware
Dual user friendly operation per footswitch
Right Footswitch: Toggles device on/off and activates phase shifter mode (hold for turning on/off phase shifter)
Left Footswitch: Activates internal Oscillator and Gravity Mode (quick double tap for cycling between different modes)
Footswitch Memory: Saves the last footswitch status in internal memory for consistent device state recall
Mutes the Oscillator when the device is off, preventing high-frequency component leakage into the audio signal chain
